Polishing The Came To The Desired Finish |

This piece is made up of brass came and normal stained glass type solder. We are going to show different treatments on each of the corners to demonstrate the variety of techniques that can be performed using the brush plating process. For the first step we decided to show plating on one corner with a minimum of polishing and preparation. We simply polished the brass came and solder to a bright shiny finish using a popular metal polish available at most automotive supply stores. After polishing we cleaned the area to be plated using dishwashing soap, warm water and a tooth brush. |
