Stainless Keyhole And Chrome Plated Emblem

Here is a classic case of the versatility of our on-site plating systems. The Keyhole bezel shown above is a 300 stainless steel. The emblem is chrome plated plastic and is plated as described in the frame to the left. The stainless keyhole bezel is polished with a metal polished and then de-greased with a de-greasing detergent such as Simple Green or Formula 409. The stainless is then pre-treated and activated with a woods nickel strike followed by 24K Brush Gold Solution. An alternative method of plating stainless steel is to use Gold Plating Services TriVal Brush Gold instead of the woods nickel strike followed by our standard Brush Gold Solution. |
