regarding gold plating
gun parts Hi, I have a 5 to 6 pieces from a firearm that I would like to electro-plate in gold. Will you, do you, do that type of work? I'm aware that I could purchase a kit to do this at home and being quite good with my hands I have considered this. Your thoughts please. Our Answer We do have a $ 100 plating minimum charge. Typically the cost of preparation and plating for this type of work is around $2-$3 per square inch.
