Having issues
I went to use bright acid copper over chrome and when I stripped the chrome and activated the nickel everything was fine when I went to plate the copper it began it give a weird burned look to it.
Gold Plating Service
Our Bright Acid Copper solution is very sensitive to voltage. Double check that you are somewhere around 0.8-1 volt. Also, ensure that you have stripped the chrome until all areas "wet out" after rinsing, and make sure you are not activating the piece longer than 20 seconds. If you continue to have problems, you can always take a video of your process and submit it to tech@goldplating.com.

Great results

Great stuff
I've tried making my own copper plating solution, and this works much better. Brighter, stronger, thicker plating finish.

Silver and copper
I’ve used it on a buckle for the background work and the copper was great. Very easily applied. The silver was a little more tedious taking up to a minute to apply an area but overall it was easy to work with
