Delivery Issues
Failed attempt to deliver - Carrier was unable to capture a signature at delivery

A direct signature upon delivery may be required for your shipment—either at your request during checkout, as indicated on your invoice, or at the discretion of Gold Plating Services to protect high-value orders against loss or theft.
-
Preparation: Monitor your shipment’s estimated delivery date using the tracking link provided in your shipping confirmation email. Tracking number can be found on your order summary on website, via email from carrier or can be provided by contact us directly.
-
Managing Delivery: If you cannot sign in person, use carrier management tools (FedEx Delivery Manager, UPS My Choice, or USPS Informed Delivery) to hold the package at a nearby pickup location, authorize a release (where permitted), or reschedule delivery.
-
Missed Deliveries: If no one is available to sign, the carrier will leave a door tag containing instructions on how to reschedule delivery or pick up your package at a local facility.
Missing or Damaged Packages in Transit

If your order arrives damaged or is missing, please review the requirements below to ensure a smooth resolution.
Critical Requirements:
-
Keep All Materials: Do not discard any products, outer shipping boxes, or internal packaging materials. The carrier may require an in-person inspection.
-
Do Not Use Damaged Products: Using affected items indicates acceptance of the product in its delivered condition and voids claim eligibility.
-
Provide Visual Evidence: Email clear photos or video showing the damage to both the items and the packaging materials in your initial outreach.
Shipping Claims Overview
-
Insured Shipments: Our team will guide you through filing and processing the carrier claim.
-
Uninsured Shipments: Claims must be filed directly by the recipient. Note that uninsured carrier compensation is generally capped at $100.
-
Carrier Cooperation: Carriers communicate directly with the recipient. Ensure your email, phone number, and address are accurate. Responding promptly to carrier inquiries is required to prevent claim denial (for which Gold Plating Services cannot accept responsibility).
Details Needed to File a Claim:
Tracking number, ship date, shipper/recipient addresses, item descriptions, unit and shipping costs, current package status, and photos/videos of damage.
