4 Things to Consider When Deciding What to Purchase

Size

Material

Plating Requirements

Frequency

Can your items fit into the Jewel Master and/or PL beakers?

Will you be brush plating or bath plating onto chrome?

Do you require MILSPEC plating

Would you like to plate several items at once and/or a large volume of items?
If your items are too large for the beakers, do you have the skillset to design your own bath plating system?       If plating onto non-stainless steel, are your steel parts larger than the size of a firearm trigger or smaller? Do you need your plating to be as consistent and precise as possible?  Will you be plating frequently and on a regular basis?
Do you have a large size range of items that won't fit easily into beakers or that are mounted? Are you familiar with which metals require different activators Do you want decorative plating only (without being too concerned about the precision of your plating)?  Are you new to plating and wanting to try it out and/or planning to plate as a hobby?
Do your items have areas you'd like to plate that are inaccessible to brush plating Do you know what a diffusion barrier is and are you familiar with which metals may benefit from a diffusion barrier? Will you be doing fine detail or two-tone plating Would you prefer to have a permanent plating setup or a mobile bath or mobile brush setup?
